Support New Globe Charity's Mission

Our Name

The name of our charitable production company pays tribute to William Shakespeare (a big influence on our founder Joe Hoffman's writings), whose home theatre was the Globe Theatre in London, England.

The production company’s name also speaks to Joe's desire to use this charitable program to help make the world a better place- make the globe like new.

Our Mission

New Globe Productions will work to provide students (grade school through college/tech school age) from diverse backgrounds with a variety of educational/empowerment opportunities, such as:

  • Starring in the productions that will be put on by New Globe Productions.

  • Recording and producing music as part of these productions.

  • Working as part of the technical crew (camera, lighting, sound, animation, etc.). for these upcoming productions.

  • Working on business office type tasks (PR, marketing, event scheduling, ticketing, etc.) that will help support these productions and our charitable program as a whole.

New Globe Productions will also recruit adults to help supervise the students and be mentors for them.

And the charitable production company will additionally work to provide these participating adults with many opportunities to become educated and empowered.

The Benefits Of New Globe Productions

New Globe Productions will be able to positively impact the lives of countless people around the globe by working to support the efforts of various charitable organizations that are endeavoring to put some good into the world,

Our not-for-profit program will also strive to provide students with numerous opportunities to become empowered and to learn things that will help them throughout their academic careers (and beyond).

New Globe will also continue to provide young people with empowering and educational opportunities after they've successfully completed their studies and have entered the workplace.

Additionally,  our charitable program will help instill in students the value of assisting people who are in need and the importance of working to benefit the greater good.

And working to benefit others through New Globe Productions' many charitable endeavors will help demonstrate to students how impactful and rewarding it can be to engage in these philanthropic activities.

Moreover, the empowering educational opportunities that will be provided by New Globe Productions will help participating students do better in school.

And these activities will help decrease the likelihood that participating students will use/abuse illicit drugs and alcohol and engage in other self destructive behaviors such as self harm, suicide, being violent towards others, etc.

Sit In The Shade

This charitable production is designed to help raise funds and increase awareness for New Globe Productions and other great causes.

Sit In The Shade is inspired by the historic recordings of Band Aid’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” and U.S.A. for Africa’s “We Are the World”, and the staging of the Live Aid benefit concerts in 1985.

Through this charitable endeavor, major recording artists will be invited to record songs that've been written throughout the years by Joe Hoffman.

Students and adults will be recruited to help set these songs written by Joe to music. And participating students will then learn how to play these songs, and will record demos (audio and video) of these tunes.

The demos of these songs written by Joe will be sent to various artists, and these musicians will be invited to record these numbers as benefits for charity.

The proceeds generated from the sale of these songs will be split evenly between New Globe Productions, other participating charities, and whatever charity the major recording artists who are gracious enough to record these tunes would like to support through their recordings.

Merchandise items will also be sold to help raise funds and increase awareness for Sit In The Shade.

And benefit concerts and other special events will additionally be set up to help raise money and spread the word about this exciting charitable venture.
