
Joe is also a graduate of Bishop Miege High School, a graduate of Johnson County Community College (where he graduated with honors and distinction and earned an Associate of the Arts degree), and a graduate of UMKC (where he graduated with honors and distinction and earned Bachelors of the Arts degrees in both Political Science and Spanish).
During his college career, Joe had the opportunity to study in Mexico twice by spending a fall semester at la Universidad de las Americas in Puebla (while studying at Johnson County Community College) and by spending a summer semester at la Universidad Veracruzana in Xalapa (while studying at UMKC).
Joe is currently employed at U.S. Bank in Overland Park, Kansas as a case processor in the Fraud Department. And he’s a former winner of one of the company’s most prestigious awards-Legends of the Possible. Joe is also an active participant in the U.S. Bank Development Network, where’s he’s been able to serve as the group’s event photographer.
Previously, Joe worked to help Dennis Moore get elected to the United States House of Representatives (KS-03). And Joe worked on Congressman Moore’s congressional and campaign staffs for several years, where he was able to proudly serve the people of the Third Congressional District of Kansas.
Joe also had the honor of spending 2 years working as a civilian contractor for the U.S. Army Reserves’ 129th Transportation Company (H.E.T.). And he was formerly employed at Lab One (now Qwest Diagnostics) through Kelly Services, where Joe was once recognized as Kelly Services’ National Employee of the Week.


Joe is a proud blood donor at the Community Blood Center in Johnson County, Kansas. He’s a Type O Negative Universal Donor who regularly does Double Red Blood Cell donations. And Joe has donated over two gallons of blood since becoming a regular donor at the blood center.
He's also a financial supporter of St. Pius X church, Knights of Columbus (where he’s a member of the organization’s 1882 Society), Catholic Charities, Unbound (where he’s a proud monthly sponsor of his goddaughter Zoe, a three year old little lady who lives in Morelos, Mexico), St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (he’s a monthly Partner in Hope donor), Feeding America, No Kid Hungry, The Harvesters, The Salvation Army, Kansas City Zoo (he’s an annual Friends of the Zoo member), World Wildlife Fund (he’s a monthly donor and the adopter of 3 animals thru the WWF- a black rhino, a polar bear, and an American bald eagle), Akashinga (formerly the International Anti-Poaching Foundation- he’s a monthly donor and has done a benefit event for this organization), The Nature Conservancy (he’s a monthly donor), The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art (he’s an annual Friends of Art member), The Folly Theater, and Cos4Hope.
Joe’s additionally a regular volunteer with St. Pius X, Knights of Columbus, The Folly Theater (he’s a member of the theater’s volunteer council), Unbound (he proudly serves as an Ambassador for this organization), and Cos4Hope (where he’s worked as an event photographer at several of the charity’s events).
Joe has been writing poetry and song lyrics ever since he was in the 6th grade (as best he can recall). And he’s been writing dramatically (stage plays, screen plays, etc.) for over 5 years.
He's also been taking photographs for over 10 years. And he's been able to work as an event photographer for various organizations over the past several years.
Joe is happy to be putting his talents and experiences to good use through this charitable program that he founded- New Globe Productions.
